Review These Resources Before You Apply
Step 1: Check the Program Eligibility and Participation Requirements
Before applying, please review the program guidelines for the program of your choice. Our Charge Ready guides offer in-depth information on all three of our cost-saving electric vehicle (EV) programs:
New program applications are temporarily being added to a waitlist. Sites in California-designated Disadvantaged Communities may be prioritized for review.
This guide has information on both the Charging Infrastructure and Rebate and Turn-Key Installation programs. The Charging Infrastructure and Rebate Program offers financial support for infrastructure upgrades and rebates for the purchase and installation of qualifying EV charging equipment.
New program applications are temporarily being added to a waitlist. Sites in California-designated Disadvantaged Communities may be prioritized for review.
This guide has information on the Turn-Key Installation programs. The Turn-Key Installation Program provides program funded and hassle-free installation and operation of EV charging equipment. Participants would still be responsible for paying the associated utility bill, but any fees charged drives for the use of the stations will help to reduce those costs.
Property developers breaking ground should know about the New Construction Rebate Program. This guide is a go-to resource for the program that helps developers of new multi-family housing purchase and install EV charging equipment during construction.
This guide has information about the Small Site Rebate Program. The program offers financial support through rebates for the purchase and installation of four or fewer qualifying ports.
The guide has detailed information about the DCFC Program, including program requirements, customer-side infrastructure design requirements, and rebate information.
Step 2: Review the Approved Product List
All Charge Ready participants must select EV charging equipment from SCE’s Approved Product List (APL). Reviewing the APL is important as participating businesses and organizations get ready to choose their EV charging equipment.
Step 3: Sign-In to Your SCE Account to Apply
Once you’ve decided on which of the Charge Ready program you want, reviewed eligibility and participation requirements, and the approved product you’re ready to apply. Please note you’ll have to sign in or create an SCE account to fill out an application.
