A Community Choice Aggregator (CCA) Procures Electricity for Customers
CCA is a program that allows cities, counties, and Joint Powers Authorities (JPAs) to procure and provide electricity for customers within a defined jurisdiction. If your home or business falls within the boundaries of a CCA, you are considered to be part of that CCA’s territory and may be served by that CCA. SCE continues to provide metering services, meter readings, billing and payment services, and customer care and account maintenance for CCA customers.

If you have opted into a CCA, you will be charged for generation from the CCA and delivery from SCE. On your bill, you’ll notice that each set of charges will have the same service account number under the “Summary of your billing detail” section of your bill.
