Want to invest in renewables and lower your carbon footprint? Generating your own power has its rewards.

Solar Power

Whether you want to supplement the electricity we provide to you, or adopt a greener lifestyle, you have the option of generating your own electricity though solar power. If you are thinking of “Going Solar” we have the information and resources to get you started here.

Self-Generation Incentive Program

If you are an SCE customer and you are interested in increasing the reliability of your electric service, you may be able to receive an incentive towards the purchase of an energy storage (battery) system. Please visit SCE’s Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) for more information about energy storage and available incentives.

Solar Billing Plan

Customers who install a renewable generating system, such as solar or wind, may be eligible for the Solar Billing Plan. If you generate more electricity than you use, the excess will flow back to the grid, and you will be compensated for energy exported to the grid based on a calculated hourly electricity price. These hourly prices will be derived from the latest CPUC-approved Avoided Cost Calculator and vary by month, weekday, and weekend.
